It means that eBay manages the end-to-end payments experience on the eBay platform. Buyers pay for their purchases on eBay, and sellers are paid out directly to their bank accounts. Managed payments is currently live in the US and Germany, will be launched in the UK this year, and will continue to be rolled out to more markets in the near future.
